Why is plus size clothing so difficult to buy? Granted some retail stores are moving their sizes up from average to plus size, so it’s not as difficult to buy as it once was. It’s nice to be able to walk into the same store as everyone else and buy something instead of having to go to a “speciality” store. It’s also nice to see that they’re actually making plus size clothing attractive.

That was one thing that always bothered me. Just because someone didn’t fit into what society considered “the norm” does not mean that they were not attractive! I think some of the models that model plus size are so much more attractive than the super skinny ones. Instead of being shapeless bags, they’ve introduced curvy jeans and attractive tops. Why should people be left to accessorize just to make them look decent, just because they couldn’t find anything good on the shelf? Plus size clothing has come a far way from what it once was.

People come in all shapes and sizes. For example, my sister and I are like night and day. She’s straight with no curves, and I am nothing but curves. We have the same parents, yet we are as different as they come. When we wore the same size we still couldn’t wear each other’s clothes. It just goes to show that all a size is is a number. You can be a size zero and be unbelievably unhealthy, yet you can be 16 and be as healthy as they come. Society really needs to stop focusing on size and just focus on health.
